Bones Of Freedom are kindred
spirits drawn together via the magic of myspace like moths to the rock
n roll flame. Dispensing with the traditional methods and constraints
related with forming a band, they ignored geographical hurdles placed
in front of them and created a virtual kingdom known as ScandaScotia
were Pipes and McWeed’s music could be married to Eddies lyrics and
vocals to produce the Bones Of Freedom hippie, hard rock, 70’s
psychedelic, from the heart with attitude sound. Bones Of Freedoms
songs cover many subjects including the culture of celebrity, society
today, greed, respect, mythology, angels and demons, peace, love, rock
& roll, sex, human nature, mother nature and much more. Bones Of
Freedom attempt to convey these subjects by weaving them into melodies
and hooks that will stick in your head and hopefully your heart.
The three creative forces of BOF, Pipes from Denmark, McWeed from
Finland both living in Sweden and Eddie from England living in Scotland
are expanded to a five piece band for live gigs, joined by Red Morgan a
Swede living in Sweden and Kim Rossi a Russian living in Sweden, giving
the band a true international flavour . BOF take their varying
heritages, backgrounds and influences put them into the melting pot to
create some pure classic pan European rock that spreads the peace love
and rock and roll vibe.
Bones of Freedom have already started spreading their message worldwide
with various tracks getting radio airplay on numerous radio stations
and receiving rave reviews. BOF are regulars in the myspace top artist
classic rock chart and their version of Nazareths glencoe massacre will
be featured on a tribute album celebrating 40 years of Naz.
