The Recorders: The main recorder is an Alesis HD24 hard disk recorder. This unit can record 24 channels simultaneuosly at 24 bit 96 KHz resolution. We also have an Alesis ADAT which records 8 channels and a M Audio Delta 1010 DAW which records 8 channels at 24 bit 96 KHz.
Software: We currently run Pro Tools, Cubase SX3, Soundforge, Nuendo and Ableton Live, all with a wide range of plug ins. Mastering is done with Waves Platinum.
The Analogue System: This is handled by a Yamaha MX400 mixing console. We also have a Studer J37 2 inch tape recorder. This 4 track machine was once used by The Beatles at Abbey Road.
Outboard Gear: We don't have racks and racks of compressors and gates-we have a great desk instead! We do have outboard effects such as a Roland DEP5, an Alesis Quadroverb, a Lexicon 400 and a Behringer Virtualiser. There is also a couple of valve pre amps. There is a suite of media players such as minidisk, cassette tape and vinyl record players.
Instruments: There is a variety of instuments available such as a full drum kit, a piano, electric and acoustic guitars, 6 and 5 string banjos, a mandolin, an autoharp, a 4 string bass, a ukelele and a harmonium.
Microphones: There is a wide variety to choose from: Sontronics Orpheus, Shure 57/58, Behringer, Rode, SE Electronics, Elecrtrovoice.

Sound Engineer/Producer: The most expensive gear on the planet is just so much junk unless used properly. Our engineer/producer, Stu Richardson has a pedigree stretching back to Sir George Martin of Abbey Road. Stu was trained by Davie Sinton of Skerries Music. Davie was trained by Alan Spence who, along with Alan Parsons were George Martin's assistant engineers. Stu's recordings speak for themselves and he has produced critically acclaimed albums.

myspacepic2Prices: We try to keep prices down in order to encourage young acts to have a professional recording made. Our hourly rate is now just
£15 per hour. Our day rate is now £50 for a six hour tracking session then £10 per track mixing and mastering. There are no hidden extras
and no pressure. You know exactly what you will pay for any project.
