BedHead are quite simply, the busiest duo in Scotland. Since January 2000 they have performed over 1200 shows at venues ranging from pubs, clubs, hotels, barns, wedding dances, holiday camps, village halls and even the back of a lorry in the pouring rain at the Lossie Xmas Lights Switch On! Boasting two of the finest vocalists on the circuit, BedHead's combination of male/female lead vocals and stunning harmonies give the band an unpararalled depth of material and unique sound. Add to this one of the finest sound systems around and the fact that Stu Richardson of BedHead is a fully qualified sound engineer, and you are treated to the best sound on the circuit. BedHead's lighting system adds the final ambience to any event or party. The bands' hi tech approach to music sees them spend hours in the studio creating first class backing tracks, delivered through a hardware sequencer. No minidisc or CD for BedHead. What you hear is first generation sound with an enormous punch. When live guitar is added to this during the gig, you have the impression of a 5/6 piece band. Stu and Hazel have never compromised on their vocals and all harmonies and leads are performed live. BedHead have a huge set list of over 400 songs, expanding constantly. They perform songs from Irish ballads os the 18th century to current chart hits like Scissor Sisters and Mika and everything in between. The are quite happy to perform strict tempo numbers for those who like a quickstep and can provide music for Scottish Country dancing if required. The band are also accomplished songwriters and during any gig you will hear a few of their original tracks thrown in.
